Services

Currently only offering online therapy on an ongoing basis.

  • One on one sessions for individual adults, children, teens, and adolescents, where we can focus on what you want to go into.

  • For some children, treatment may be more effective if a parent more involved and present during the treatment process. For such cases, I offer parent-child therapy when beneficial.

  • Therapy involving multiple members of a family to work toward’s your family’s goals together. Sessions are an hour long.

  • As a sole provider at this time, I don’t have the capacity to provide gender-affirming support letters on a one time basis. At this time, I only have capacity to provide such letters if you are engaged in ongoing therapeutic services with me, or were a past client that needs a letter to support you in getting needed gender affirming surgery or medications.

  • For children that are seeing me in therapy, I can provide parent collaterals to support parents or teacher consultations to aid in providing the best supportive environments for your child to thrive in. These are often provided on a monthly or as-needed basis.

Let's begin

About

My name is Drae (Andrea) Roth and I’m a licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT #157634) within California. I’m currently the sole practictioner and owner of Heartfelt Healing Counseling Collective, which I would love to expand in the future! As a Hapa (half Asian and half white) neurodivergent person, I’ve seen the need for care that takes into account a variety of intersectional backgrounds to a deeper level and have wanted to be a part of filling that gap. That’s why got my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from USF’s social justice oriented program, and spent years working with people of a variety of ages (from 3- 70s+) and a multitude of backgrounds (ethnic, LGBTQ+, immigrants, disabled, neurodivergent, ADHD, Autism, APD, HSP, 2e, etc.), many of which are dear to my heart.

Wanting to help in this way, led me to work for San Mateo County’s Pride Center for the last 3 years providing integrative LGBTQ+ affirming care to a variety of diverse adults, teens, and families, and before that, at UCSF’s Infant-Parent program to support families, parents, teachers, in coming together to support pre-school children in better thriving.  Prior to that, I worked with diverse children (ages 3-12) with ADHD and Autism and their parents and teachers for a couple of years, learning behavioral techniques that can be very helpful in aiding motivation and habit formation. I’ve also developed and run both therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, some of which were for LGBTQ+ people, and adults with ADHD.

In my spare time, I can be found in nature, making things out of clay, dancing, trying out new recipes, or laughing at something silly (like myself.)

Let's work together

How we can work together

  • Together, we can tailor therapy to your (or your child or your family’s) specifics needs. Some people want to focus on the past- to have it truly seen and heard, and to understand it. Others wish to figure out how to move towards the future they’ve wanted. Other want some of both. Let’s see what focus and techniques (whether that’s attachment based/ psychodynamic that focused on the past or ones grounded in the present, or narrative, motivational interviewing, or CBT ones to help you move into the future) fit best for you and your healing journey.

  • Child therapy is known to be more effective when multiple environments children are embedded in are considered.  My ecosystemic training, allows me to not only provide individual child therapy, but parent-child therapy, family therapy, or once a month parent collaterals and once a month teacher collaterals so we can work together to best support your child if indicated as beneficial.
